I want to put the code for creating a win32 window into a class but im not sure how to do it. To create a window I need to do this: - Create/Register Class - Create Window - Window Procedure - Some type of loop function. Run() And for using it in DirectX for exmaple I would need to be able to access the HWND/HINSTANCE (not sure) of the created window. So I could create a class with: - CreateWindow(Width, Height, X, Y, BackColor etc.) - HWND/HINSTANCE of the created object But I have no idea of how to integrate the run() function and the window procedure.

There is a really good article here on gamedev.net that talks about encapsulating the code needed to create and use a win32 window into a class.
