compiling a Direct X App using VC++ express

I finally got vc express beta to compile win32 apps properly now I cant get direct X working. I set the include/lib paths added added DDRAW.lib file to the project but I still get a linker error can someone explain this? poop.obj : error LNK2001: unresolved external symbol _IID_IDirectDraw7

It means it can't find that interface. Are you sure you're linking the right libs? If you are, make sure to link dxguids.lib, or whatever that library is called.

This is a pre-DX9 thing, AFAIK.
