Microsoft command line compiler

Recommended Posts

I'm using Microsoft's command line compiler, and I can't figure out exactly what the command line options are. For instance, how do I change the name of the EXE file that is output? If I type: cl /help it does tell me about some of the command-line options, but what about the rest of them? It doesn't even seem to mention the important options when you do cl /help. What's up with that? Mike C. http://www.coolgroups.com/zoomer/

What version are you running? I presume 13.10.3077 (the newest, and free, optimizing compiler).

There is documentation on the various switches. There are a LOT of them as you can see.

By the way, /out: does not work. However, /Fe does.
