Hi,
Most of you will know this book, and most of you also don't have the money to buy this book or cannot find it in the shop. I am working on a solution for all of you.

I am working on a new homepage about the book, and it's contents. I mainly transform the code given in the book into DirectDraw code with VC++. With additional information about certain stuff. Where I can, I will try to find other solutions to accomplish the same thing and explain it in my own words.
All the exercises shown in the book will be answered, and, if necessary, answered for both DirectDraw and the package they use.

I need YOUR help though, if you find any errors in the code and / or the pages, I would like you to contribute to it by telling me what is wrong with it. I also would like you to write articles for it, give me ideas about what to add. You will get full credit, because under each article you write, your name will appear.

Please take a look. There is not much there yet, but that'll change soon. I'm writing articles........

Did I almost forget the URL

This is all well and good but none of your pages work and your popup window screws up IE5 pretty badly for me.

Well, none of the web pages under Algorithm->2D Primitives work. They all seem to be missing.

The page works fine except for some smaller technical problems.
a)some broken links (probably due to not yet finished pages rather than wrong links)
b)problems with the script:
when I first executed the page, i got this kind of error for popup menus:

I think this error is being caused by the script, which displays the popup menu even if the popup background hasnt been loaded yet. that gives you a transparent popup.

Now, when you go to another section of the site (using the main navbar on the left) and then come back to the part of the site where the pulldowns didnt work so far...taddaa pulldowns work now(the actually have a background now):

hope this helps

RaVeN,
I never had an error with the pop-up window with the background being transparent, especially not since the pop-up window loads before it shows the actual page. Weird problem. Anyway....I am working on ASP pages right now, with a better navigation tool. It''ll take some time before that actually is what I want it to be. I reckon that the pop-up window isn''t that great yet. And the artciles still have to be written, some work, some don''t.
It takes some time before everything is actually up and working =).

Thank you for your input!!!
