Lots of good studios in Canada, don''t forget about all the ones mentioned plus Piranha Games in Vancouver.

Of course, many of the best studios here are getting bought by American publishers. Barking Dog (Homeworld: Catalclysm) just got picked up by Rockstar Games (GTA3), and are to be known as Rockstar Vancouver. Bioware was just bought by Microsoft. How come the only publisher we have in Canada is crappy Dreamcatcher??

Stragegy first is a decent publisher, I believe.

Other canadian companies missed:

DC Studios in Montreal

and, of course,

Silicon Knights in Ontario

Where did you hear that Microsoft spent some cash on Bioware?
Check out the news at Gamespot. They''ve not just put money into it...they''ve outright bought the place.

I think it was more of just an agreement to create a X-Box only title, they didn''t buy them.
