Is it possible to implement radiosity using the programmable pipeline? I don't know alot about radiosity, and wanting to learn more about it. ANYTHING will be appreciated. Thanks for your help!!!!

This belongs more in the Graphics Programming & Theory forum; Direct3D doesn't have any directy support for radiosity or ray tracing (the two most common methods of computing global illumination). There have been a number of SIGGRAPH papers written about how to use programmable hardware to perform radiosity more quickly and some of these algorithms are starting to approach realtime.

First, you'll need at least a basic understanding radiosity theory before you try to actually implement it using graphics hardware. The main idea in a hardware implementation of radiosity is rendering the same scene with a different light sources active and summing the results together.
