Yes, you can but whether or not it is the kind of complier or language you want is an entirly different matter! It tends to be more of a high-level proffesional compiler. I personally prefer DJGPP and AlLEGRO a) they are free b) they are free c) they are a little less "proffessional" (this has advantages and disadvantates)! This is kinda short, I know but I hope it helps!

Where did you get the idea that you couldn''t? That is a C++ compiler, of course you can.
