blender: changing the location you rotate around

i've heard many people on this forum say that blender stinks because you can only rotate around 0,0,0. well, i discovered that if you somewhere (so that the bullseye moves there) and click c, that blender will then rotate around that location. since this was one of my biggest problems using blender, i thought i would post it to try to help other people.
