My screen setting is 1024*768 16bits but when i press printscreen and make my program to crop a part of screen off, I find a 32 bits bmp in clipboard. Why? BITMAP bmp; and I get bmp.bmPlanes * bmp.bmBitsPixel =32 I can save it to disk and view by paintbrush. But some of my other favourite tool don''t accept the 32 bitdepth format. what''s the additional byte (outside the RGB)? alpha channel?
