Other mthod about skin mesh

When you are doing skinmesh? No matter you are using X File or self exported file When you are rendering, did you use ID3DXSkinInfo ?? If not, what method you are using? Seems lock method in vertex buffer is impossible, as it is too slow...!

pSkinInfo is only needed for Skinned Mesh... if you have a non skinned animated mesh, you don't use skin info...

hmmm i don't think its the skin info thats causing it to be slow... maybe you wanna elaborate your question a bit more..?
