About windowed mode resizing

Thats probably a common question, but the forum search feature isnt working so i have to ask it again: I noticed that in windowed mode Direct3D handles window resizing with the effect of scaling everything on the screen. I'm more on 2D graphics in screen space coordinates and this effect is undesireable for me. Is there a way to disable that scaling without disabling window resizing?

You'll probably have to recreate the device with the updated client rectangle any time this happens.

Yes, you must reset your device(with new presentation parameters) when the window is resized.
