To make an isometric world, I need to draw set up my view so it is on an angle and looks isometric. Then using OpenGL I push/pop and reset the coordinates and draw my terrain, flat ground tiles and wall tiles. Then I pop the matrix and I revert to the angled view. Is that how I do it? Note: This is in OpenGL.

Probably tile by tile so I'll have a 2 dimensional array for ground, 2 dimensional array for walls etc... Or is that bad?
