I finially finished it. It took me 5 days of none stop work, but I have to say that It was an awesome experience. The reason I made an Ascii Pong was because I need more practice on Game Logic, Game Loops, and Game Designing. Plus I wanted to make a nice little old school game collection for me and my girlfriend (she votes Breakout to be the next game). Click Here to have a blast in the past with Ascii Pong! Note: If you don't have Microsoft.NET, then you should get Mircosoft.NET Framework SDK v1.1 so you can -play Ascii Pong. Note2: The game works all with the mouse. So when using the menus, use the mouse and click on the green text. Like "Click Here To Start", or "Start Game", and so on. = ] Some of the things I had the most fun doing: - Programming! - Designing the Game (I wish i had a scanner to show all my drawings of it) - The AI - The Credits - Adding in the secert paddle Things I learned: - Better OOP Design - How to control data flow between objects better - A better understanding of Game Logic and Loops. - Working on a smaller project is alot better then a larger one for beginners. I hope you enjoy it. Tell me what you think, and please be honest. Thanks ahead of time for all the respones! = ]
