OpenGL how to use WMP with fullscreen openGL?

I have a really broad question here ... need some feedback to point me in the right direction before i embark on this project. I want to use windows media player control in a fullsreen openGL app. How would you guys go about it? I was thinking of making two windows, and running the wmp control on top of the opengl app. I was also considering using directshow w/ directx (actually have no idea if it will work out), but i have more experience with opengl. thanks alot guys!
