Tile Editor Programming

Becareful with binary outputs in VB. Visual Basic 6 did some crazy things with outputting characters, which ended up forcing me to rewrite it in C.

Absolutely not, your VB tile editor could output an intermediate format where a C (or some other language) program converts it into your desired format.

Also, VB.NET (Although awful) should be able to handle binary files properly. But if you are going to use VB.NET you may as well use C# instead.
