Where can I find a really basic example of a 3D game for OpenGL? I've looked everywhere but they only have tutorials for rednering and stuff. But I want to see an example of a 3D game so I can see how all the files an resources are arranged. How the code is best arranged in the files for a game. I find it hard to read a tutorial and understand It, it is much easier for me to look at the example source ode of the tutorial and learn form that.

He said a REALLY BASIC 3d opengl example, I don't think quake will fill this :). It also isn't the easiest example to follow.

This is an alright tutorial on how to go about making a game engine (This gives one persons method of creating a pretty good game engine base.)

Walks you through the development of a 2D game, most concepts are still useful in 3d. Also, outside of gamedev you can find tons of open source games and game engines, just search through google or even sourceforge.
