I am trying to load in the contents of a text file from my desktop onto my gamescreen but I am having trouble. I am using strings to store the text, and it is loading in fine. I checked the debugger and the strings that contain the text from the file are all acurate. However, whenever I try to display them on the screen, it just looks like a bunch of jumbeled pixels. I convert from c-strings to strings a few times, is this what is causing the text to display improperly? How do I fix this?
