Clicked Terrain Point Texture

I created a terrain with the heightmap and when I click any point over the terrain,I want to show for vertices with the square texture.It works properly on my work computer ,not on my own pc.Two vertex buffers are created when clicked.Does it matter?

A little more detail will help. I'll venture what I think you're saying though. When you click on a terrain, the texture for that quad is supposed to become the cursor. I assume you do this so you can set other quads to the same texture. So, if that's the assumption...how are you setting the cursor? Are you drawing a 2D or 3D quad on the screen for that texture? Or are you actually setting the cursor?

when clicked on the terrain,I create a vertex buffer (4 vertices which have same coordinates with the terrain intersection face points,one texture for ).2 vertex buffer exists in the memory.On some computers,second vertex buffer does not appear,of course its texture also does not.Why can it happen?
