i am trying to start working on the Map editor for isometric game. i am planning on using CBuilder to build the app but i am facing problems with ID3DXSprite. the code for tile-rendering was initially written and tested on Visual Studio. it worked fine but it doesn't on CBuilder. the problem is with <<Draw>> method of the sprite object. help!!!

You might want to say what the exact error message is and what the source code that generates the error is.

good call!!!

Error: "EAccessViolation with message 'Access violation at address 004092B8 in module 'Project1.exe'. Write of address 00000000'

And the whole thing collapses here:

CGraphics::SPRITE()->Draw( CGraphics::GetTexture(m_tex_id),
&m_tex_rct,
&m_scale,
&m_rot_cntr,
m_rot_angle,
&m_position,
m_color );

all of the input to the function is good (i checked everything)
