I was wondering if it is possible to have a tilemap larger than 256x256 in direct3d. I'm using the sprite.draw2d command, but if I have a texture thats my tilemap larger than 256x256 it distorts the tile when it is placed. I really don't want to stick to a 256x256 texture since using one texture allows faster rendering. Or is there another way to use a tilemap in direct3d that I don't know about yet. It seems to be possible since there are plenty of tile based games out there in direct3d. Slyprid

Well i've figured it out. Had the filters on the textureloader set to linear instead of none. Now it works perfect.
