Because microsoft made it so that visual studio beta 1 expires without any sorta warning, I had to uninstall it and download beta 2. It installed fine and I read the information about having a previous beta version installed but now the damn platform sdk doesn't work. I installed the latest version and ran the visual studio registration batch file, but nothing! It's very anoying. I can't even link to the opengl headers! (well... the proper way). What all should I have on my system for visual studio to work correctly... rite now I have service pack 2, GTK +, .Net 1.1, .Net 2 - beta 2, platform sdk, directx 9 sdk,.... the .nets, which ones should I and shouldn't I have?? Also, I have a copy of DevC++. It seems to be a good compiler, however, the libraries are all .a?? Can some one point me to a *.lib to *.a converter?
