Ok i want to learn to program games but i need to learn how to program so can someone plz give me a list of books that will take me from knowing nothing about c++ to being able to program 3d games.Or if it is possible one book that teaches it all. And if possible a book that contains a compiler or a trial version of one. Thanks.

There are free compilers out there so you don't really need a book to come with one, although a book that comes with a compiler will usually explain how to use it so I admit it that IS a bonus.

Anyway, this has a ton of books, just look at amazon.com's listings for what they are about.

This has a list of books on C++:

This book tries to take you from nothing to games:

It's for the best if you just learn C++ a bit and when you do come back and we'll help you on your next step of learning graphics. Much better than buying a ton of books when one at a time works just as well.
