Game Networking Question?

I am using Managed DirectX and C# to write a game what is my best option for networking the game? I mean i know that microsoft is no longer going to support DirectPlay, so i am wondering what my other options are? Thanks in advance for information. Zwigby

.NET supplies the System.Net and System.Net.Sockets namespaces for networking. It's possible to use this functionality to network with non-.NET applications if you choose.

You can also use an existing un-managed networking library and cross-call from .NET, either by writing a managed C++ wrapper, or by using P/Invoke.
