Visual C++ 2005 and dlls

hi there everybody! i am just wondering how i can make a dynamic dll using visual c++ 2005 express beta 2 (if its possible). the option to make a static dll is there, but DLL is greyed out. thanks in advance.

If it's greyed out, I'd say it wasn't possible. Microsoft did issue instructions about how to alter the config files so that the new Win32 project button was enabled when you create a console app, but I can't remember how it was done.

There are many things VC++ 2005 can't do (I've got the same beta, not having a full resource editor is a pain as well), but the full version won't be all that expensive, from what I hear.
