OpenIL crash..

cSurface* LoadImage(char* imgLoc) { cSurface* newSurf = new cSurface; newSurf->SetTexture(ilutGLLoadImage(imgLoc)); newSurf->SetW(ilGetInteger(IL_IMAGE_WIDTH)); newSurf->SetH(ilGetInteger(IL_IMAGE_HEIGHT)); return newSurf; } It crashes everytime I make a call to ilGetInteger(IL_IMAGE_WIDTH) or ilGetInteger(IL_IMAGE_HEIGHT). How do I fix this?

Are you sure its not your newSurf->SetW function crashing?

Try calling ilGetInteger(IL_IMAGE_WIDTH) OUTSIDE of your SetW function. For instance, simply call

int width = ilGetInteger(IL_IMAGE_WIDTH);
newSurf->SetW(width);


And see if this crashes.
