I have a old graphics card and I am wandering if it is possible for me to code something using Direct3D. The problem is that I have installed DirectX SDK and when I tried to run the samples from the package they either didn`t run or they run very, very slow(0.15 fps). P.S.: My graphics card is a Matrox G200.

Matrox G200 was a nice card 5-6 years ago. It was especially suited for 2D graphics apps( i.e. max resolution supported: 1920x1440).
