Hello, I am programming my own scene exporter plugin for 3ds max. I am having a problem with the controller system; Specifically, I cannot find the association between a CameraObject and constraint path position controller. I have a scene with a target camera and a path constraint (spline) applied to it. I retrieve the camera information such as fov, far plane and near plane, but I cannot retrieve the association between the camera and the position controller. Is there any methods to retrieve the controllers associated to a node? This is an example of my output:
begin shapeobject name <camera_path> .begin tm row 0 <0.819152,-0.573576,0.000000> row 1 <0.573576,0.819152,0.000000> row 2 <0.000000,0.000000,1.000000> row 3 <0.124176,21.314682,77.685555> .end tm spline count 1 .begin spline 0 knot count 4 in vector <167.275589,-66.820679,0.000000> knot point <167.275589,-66.820679,0.000000> out vector <191.220123,-6.879101,0.000000> in vector <181.250595,61.324371,0.000000> knot point <141.150757,111.904373,0.000000> out vector <101.050919,162.484375,0.000000> in vector <36.919479,187.748260,0.000000> knot point <-26.903645,178.107605,0.000000> out vector <-90.726768,168.466949,0.000000> in vector <-144.534821,125.387970,0.000000> knot point <-167.905960,65.220505,0.000000> out vector <-167.905960,65.220505,0.000000> .end spline 0 .end shape .begin camera name <Camera01> type <target> isortho <0> fov <0.785398> targetdist <175.439560> far <1000.000000> near <0.000000> hither <1.000000> yon <1000.000000> .begin tm row 0 <0.815771,0.578375,0.000000> row 1 <-0.247378,0.348915,0.903915> row 2 <0.522802,-0.737388,0.427712> row 3 <98.821548,-129.366959,77.685555> .end tm .end camera
I want to get the association between my <Camera01> and my <camera_path>. Thanks in advance!
