I don't know of any C++ audio programming forum. If you're using DirectSound any DirectX forum might be of use.

I'm creating an avi file, first I read a sequence of .bmp files and write them to the avi file using the WIN32 API functions, then I need to add sound.
I fill a buffer with .wav file that I read, then I compress it using the ACM methods, and when I write it to the avi file I encounter problems, the problem is that the wav is written, but when I play the avi - no sound is heard.

any ideas why ??
