Angular Extent Filtering... (cubemap filtering)

"Angular Extent Filtering with Edge Fixup for Seamless Cubemap Filtering" is the title of a presentation for siggraph 2005. They seem to be based off of the work of a guy who used to work at ATI research. I'm assuming they're (unfortunately) going to speak mainly upon the tech behind ATI cubemapgen utility. What I'd be interested in is a realtime/dynamic solution to the seam problem - could anyone point me to someplace where the cubemaps are dynamically rendered to, and then the edge fixup is performed?
