Hi, For some university work i have to write a client that connects to a SNTP client and sets the local time to that of the SNTP server. Now the code is fairly easy but the problem is the fact that i can't seem to get a connection to any SNTP servers that i have found available on google. Now this is most likely because i cant find any information on which server port i need to connect to. The client code i have is simple, it connects to a given url or number and if a connection is established the server sends back theSNTP time pack. Well at least i am assuming that for now. I know this isnt game developement but i really dont know where else i can finc this information and im also hoping that somebody on here has alread done somehing similar to this. So the question is, Does anyone know of an SNTP or NTP time synchronisation server and on which port i should connect to. Thanks for any help, ace

Are you sure?

On my local server here at uni the time port for TCP and UDP is designated as 37.

Although since i havnt a clue what im doing you could be right.

The server is sending back a number representing the number of seconds since 1980.
