Pen Tablet C++ API ?
Are there any C++ API's for dealing with pen tablets? Such as the watcom tablet? For instance if I wanted to access the pen and properties such as how much pressure is being applied to the pen, or where on the tablet it is writing. I know that the drivers that come with the tablets usually make windows think it is a mouse, but I have not found a way to access a few properties, such as the 'pressure' being applied to the end of a pen.
Is there a generic API for doing this for all tablets?
Nice, I've been wondering about this myself!
If I may ask, is there a difference on how windows percieves the wacom tablet and windows xp tablet edition percieves the pen/screen tablet? I.e. would WinTab work for a Tablet PC?

To access tablet functionality you use the MS Tablet SDK. The Tablet API for the Tablet PC is less robust/extensive than the Wintab API. On the other hand it's also a lot easier to deal with. For most Tablet PC applications you can just use ink enabled components and build on them. It actually works out pretty well.
