Hello I've been experiencing some problems with alutInit... I don't know why it works on my friend's computer and on mine it doesn't It compiles everything correctly (I'm using VC++ 6.0) but when I try to execute it returns the following message: "First-chance exception in Test.exe (NTDLL.DLL): 0xC0000008: Invalid Handle" I even have updated my sound card driver but it didn't work... I'm quite a newbie with C++ and I really need some help here ;-) thanks

I thinks there is no need of it... no matter what code I've written, this error comes when I do the first thing: call alutInit(0, NULL);

if I write the simplest code to load a sound using OpenAL I get this error...

it raises an exception (the one I wrote on the previous post)
