visual c++ won't complete

hey, i downloaded visual c++ 2005 express edition beta 2, it said download and setup complete, but the window just sat there, and i clicked the window off, and it wasn't it program files or on my hard drive, is there somewhere else i can download visual c++, i am using this compiler for a book i have, i alos have dev-c++
Use the search to see if it has been installed somewhere else. If it really hasn't been installed try again. Though I have no idea as to what might be wrong.
Mght be worth trying a download client like Download Accelerator Plus. It takes the item from many sources.
