Extra gameplay features for an action flight-sim

I'm thinking about adding some extra content to my game. It's a team-based action flight-sim in 3D (not yet playable). A major part of the game is the insane speed, so quick in fact that newbies wouldn't dare to go full throttle. Another part is the team-based action, where both teams try to shoot out the other. I realised today that this concept is probably quite extendable. If a player would want to take a break, instead of walking away or exiting the game, I would offer a secondary gameplay.

What addons would YOU like to see in such a game???

My ideas are: - speed competitions (a racetrack?) - co-op gameplay (half the players would have airplanes, the rest would be stuck on the ground with alot of aliens. Both teams missions would be to keep the VIP alive).

What extra features could you add to a team-based action flight-sim?

Speed Races
"Obstacle Courses" - Do this, fly through there, blow that up.

I dunno, don't play flight sims much, I'm just not very good at them.
