Hi, I'm working on a project w/ some guys and one of the source files is pretty long like 3,500 lines. The problem is that, sometimes I'll be coding away and then suddenly VC++ will give me some weird compile error about unexpected bracket or unexpected end of file, etc. So, I spend a few minutes checking my code from top to bottom and can't find anything wrong with it. Then I close the source file and open it again and to my horror, the last few lines of code have been duplicated. So, say I had a closing bracket in the last lines of my code, then there'll be two of them. So I erase the extra bracket, close the source file, and then open it again, and the bracket comes back again! So finally I reboot, open up VC++ again, open the file, erase the bracket, and *now* it's gone. Does anyone know about this problem and how to fix it? (other than making source files smaller- I plan to do that anyway but it'd be nice too if VC++ didn't behave like this) Thanks roos

That is odd...Assuming it is not something weird you may be doing accidentally, it is probably a dumb bug. Look for updates/patches on microsoft.com or something.
