Tools/Data are important in game dev. Data that models, sounds etc.. is created by Tools. But how about scene description? I know many level editors create scene. but maybe many game use code to create scene. for example: movable * hero = sceneMgr->create(pos,orientation,etc...); movabel * camera = sceneMgr->create(pos,orientation,nearclip,farclip); so what is used popularly for scene description?

Not sure if I understood your question right, but here's my take.

I use a text file which contains lines somewhat like this:
Mesh "filename" <position> <rotation> "texture"

I feed this line into a factory which in turn gives me a Node which I add into my root node.

It is an easy way to change what you want in your scene. However it only does the actual loading and no game logic related things (triggers etc.).
It could of course be extended to do that as well, but if you want more complex stuff perhaps you should also have a look into scripting languages.
