hey, i like darkbasic and c++, darkbasic is too easy, there is something called dark game sdk, http://darkgamesdk.thegamecreators.com/ , i think i'll do that, and then , later sometime, i'll look into programming with opengl or directx, but is programming with dark game sdk considered programming with C++? because i want to join a team that requires a C++ game programmer,

My understanding of the Dark Game SDK is that it is a C++ library that provides the functionality of the DarkBASIC professional engine.

This means that using it would involve learning C++, but if it were the only thing you had experience with I wouldn't really call you a C++ programmer; the team would most likely expect you to be able to use C++ without the use of the Dark Game SDK to do whatever it is they need a programmer for.

I've never used it though, so I'm not sure how well it would make you learn C++.

Well then that's all well and good, and perfectly acceptable for your own project, but just check with the team you mentioned before you join a group project; if they don't mind you working with Dark Game SDK then that's fine, but they may have existing code, or want you to work with something else.
