OpenGL Looking for a Book on 3D Animation

Is there a book that explains in some detail: how to design, export, import, etc. a custom 3D character format and also explains how to program animation incl. skinning, keyframing, etc.? Most of the graphics books explain how to initialize: DirectX or OpenGL and just repeat stuff, I can find in all of them but from different authors. Can you recommend a book that goes into more details? BTW: I'm mostly interested in exporting models & bones from Lightwave & Blender. Thank you!
