Hello there. It would seem that in OpenGL, textures have to be loaded for each rendering context. So if you wanted to render the same world from 4 different perspectives to 4 windows, you would need to load all textures 4 times. Is there any way around this restriction? Also, when rendering to textures, is it possible to obtain a device and rendering context just for a texture? Or is it necessary to render to the one associated to a window, and copy the result into a texture?

You can use wglShareLists(). The MSDN says it's for display-lists, but from what I've heard it actually enables sharing all server objects(DL,textures,VBOs...). I haven't actually tried it though, but give it a try.

-EDIT: Beaten!
