suface/texture stretching in windowed mode RESOLVED

in dx9, if i switch from fullscreen to windowed and then call SetWindowPos or MoveWindow afterwards, my entire client area gets stretched and is obscured by the bottom of the window frame... here's a quick rundown of the function calls i make and the order i call them in: SetWindowLong(...);//returns OK! SetWindowPos(...);//returns OK, but doesn't set correct dimensions!!! SetMenu(...);returns OK, definitly the culprit!!!!!! MoveWindow(...);//returns OK, but doesn't set correct dimensions!!! DX9ChangeFromFullscreenToWindowed(); SetWindowPos(...);//returns OK! try again and now it works, but with a vertically stretched client area... :( RESOLVED: i just needed to put MoveWindow() immediatley after setting my D3DPRESENT_PARAMETERS, but before calling CreateDevice...
