viewing libs

Hi Does anyone know of a simple, preferably free, program to view which functions are declared in a lib, their parameters etc.? cheers

Under windows you'll probably want depends.exe which is distributed with the platform SDK (and possibly separately from msdn) if you want a gui. If command line stuff for windows is ok, use dumpbin (distributed with visual studio) with a heap of flags on the command line (again probably also distributed separately by microsoft).

Under linux (and presumably cygwin) you can use ldd on the command line.
