Java, how to see if a string equals "\"? as \ is a special character I can't compile.

Hi in my java app, I am checking for "\" in my strings. The problem is "\" is a special character, eg \n, \t. So eclipse won't let me compile. How do I check if my string equals that, eg s.equals("\"); Thanks
