Compressed textures don't load - please help!

Hello I have problem with loading DXTC compressed textures (with alpha channel) using D3DXCreateTextureFromFile(Ex) function. If I use DXT1 without alpha, all textures are loaded without problem, but when I use textures with alpha channels I get an D3DXERR_INVALIDDATA error. All textures are made with TheCompressonator 1.23.1049 from ATI. I am using DirectX 8.1 Does anybody know what could be a problem? Thank you in advance. Thanks, but I solved it. ATI tool for compression makes wrong compressed textures. DirectX texture tool makes them good.
