picking a quad?

how to pick a quad in dx? do i need to call IntersectTri twice? its costly for me since i have lots of quads(tiles) in my terrain

Simple solutions:
1) Since you know that each quad is going to be 2 consistent triangles, test each odd tile. If it picks that, then it also picks the next triangle.

2) Pick every triangle, if the number is even, divide the index by 2 and that is the tilenumber.

Those are the only solutions that I can think of right now.
