Hello, in what format are matrices in the .x files stored? Row major? Column major? When looking at some example files it seems to be colum major. If it were row major there would be some frame transform matrices that would leave something !=1 as the w component of a transformed vertex. Am I right assuming they are column major? Furthermore: What is the default orientation of the coordinate system in .x files? left handed like DirectX? I thought so but if even matrices are different from the defaults of directx... Update: Another thing I'm unsure about are the animation keys. When there are seperate keys for translation, rotation and scaling - should they match per time value or can there be more translation keys than rotation keys in an animation fro example? Thanks, Markus [Edited by - muhkuh on August 18, 2005 8:05:21 AM]
