OpenWorkbench (project management) how to ?

Ive got an open source project management software Open Workbench. Unlike OpenOffice it has non-intuitive interface (maybe cos I haven't worked with project management software). And it's Help system doesn't have tutorials at all. I would like to understand how to work with that software, how to start project, plan it, review it and follow a shcedule. Any tutorial would be helpful.

If you're using Windows, I wholeheartedly suggest buying a copy of MS Project. Any version since Project 2000 will do, really, so if you can find yourself a used copy (legit, of course), just pick that up rather than pay retail for Project 2003.
If you're insistent on Niku Workbench, there is a help file that explains its use, but it's not too helpful. Seriously, though, if you're using Windows, use Project. Otherwise, set up phpCollab or phpGW on a webserver (even your own on localhost) and deal with that instead. Niku/Open Workbench is just troublesome.
As for the interface, it is similar to what Project has for its interface. So it's probably just your unfamilarity with project management software. Still, Project makes it much easier to do work.
BTW, OOo has nothing at all to do with Niku/Open Workbench.

Thanks for advice, but I can not afford legit MS Project.. I don't know where to buy used one for a little bit of $$. I would really like to stick to open source product as much as I can.
Would it be wise to study MS Project and then switch to OpenWorkbench (cos as u said they have similar interface)?

It would be wise to do so, but I'd still suggest scrounging up enough cash to get MS Project. If you're a college student, you can probably get a copy for cheap from your school bookstore or library.
Ebay has used and new copies of Project 2000 for as low as 50 USD and if you are at a university that has a deal with MS, you can acutally get a new copy for 10 USD...you CAN afford it and I reemphasize the above recommendations.
If you are already using windows and perhaps Office, you will be thankfull for the ease of integration when it comes to WBS lists, reports, gnatt diagrams, etc...features that I have found consistently lacking in OS Project Management software.
But don't take my word for it, I'm a MS whore. Try it yourself and you'll see! :)

Thanks for recommendations. I am not college student, so I guess I will have to buy MS Project on EBay.. I don't use MS Office cos it's expensive :P I use Open Office.. It's cool. It's just the same as MS Office...
Another alternative would be DotProject http://www.dotproject.net which is also opensource/free.
