Hi, I am looking for a book or an article that covers how an application (the best would be a game) can be extended by using a scripting language to make some parts of the application dynamic. I'm not talking about small applications there is no problem, I'm talking about bigger applications. I looked into the books and articles section of gamedev and the only thing that seems to cover that is the book Game Scripting Mastery. Has someone read this book and can tell me how good this book is in explaining how to integrate a scripting system in a bigger application? I want to use lua with luabind (because of the OO extension), so the developed language in the book is not that important for me. It's sure interesting to see how you can write an assembler, compiler and a vm but for me it's more important to learn how to integrate a scripting system. So is this book useful for me, or does someone know a good article or another book ?
