Hello! I get the following when I try to start a simple HelloWorld .exe created by VC++ 2005 B2: "The application couldn't be started, because MSVCR80D.dll couldn't be found." MSVCR80D.dll is "Mircosoft Visual C Runtime 8.0 Debug" It should be in the "C:\WINDOWS\WinSxS\ folder". And yes I can find the file here "C:\WINDOWS\WinSxS\x86_Microsoft.VC80.DebugCRT_1fc8b3b9a1e18e3b_8.0.50215.4652_x-ww_a12cf373" But I still get the message. Why? Do I have to but it in the system32 folder? ::edit:: I also get the message if it is in the system32 folder / the same folder as the .exe! The release .exe works fine! Please help me! Thank you, Tanek [Edited by - Tanek on August 16, 2005 8:06:22 PM]
