typedef question

typedef [attributes] basetype aliasname; typedef IPlugin * (* CREATEPLUGIN)(PluginManager&mgr); in the example which is basetype and witch is aliasname?

Basetype:

IPlugin* (*)(PluginManager&)

Aliasname:

CREATEPLUGIN

In general, the typedef syntax is exactly the same as the syntax for declaring a variable of the type in question, except that in place of the variable name, you have the alias name.
