How to make different human figures?

Like the game NBA Live, we can customize a player which has different height and weight. anyone could give me an article that introduce how to adjust the 3D body mesh automatically with different figure? Thx a lot!

you could scale the length of the bones to make them large and *I don t know how you store your mesh but I guess relative to the bones

so you can transform the vertices(which need to be stored relativ to the bones they are assigned to) be some scale factor that describes how thick a character is

thats how I would do it you might integrate the scale factor into the transformation matrices instead of holding seperate copies of the same model for each character
